to sleep in. There is a cow skin rug and a floor length antler lamp. The walls are painted a warm red and the ceilings are paneled, stained and have long cross beams. Upon further investigation of the cabin, we find special added touches, such as a checker set with tiny cowboy hats as the pieces,a western style dish set in the kitchen, and my favorite, the cowboy apron with the pistol potholder. There is a small waterfall and creak behind the house, a side yard with the creak, a fire pit with sticks set up, ready for a late night warming up, and trees, mountains, the sounds of nature, water running through the creak, the COOL crisp mountain air. And, no neighbors next door!
We made it! We stopped twice before getting to our cabin, just above Roan Mountain, TN. It is so cute! The house we are staying in is privately owned, a duplex called "the bunkhouse." Our side is decorated in a cowboy theme. The girls have a covered wagon bed
