Day 1- We walked around Nha Trang getting acquainted with the town. We found a nice little spot and discovered "Bia Hoi" meaning draught beer for super cheap. We're talking thirty cents a glass! We met a nice couple from Canada who gave us some good insight on traveling north.
Day 2- We went to Nha Trang beach for awhile. We were both talked into a massage by two Vietnamese women on the beach.
Day 3- We took an island tour for the day and visited four islands, but only set foot on one. We snorkeled off the first island (Mot Island) although the visibility was poor. Darren saw some mussels...
We ate a family style meal on the boat and enjoyed some music performed by our boat crew boy band. See video... Darren enjoyed some sea urchin soup as well. Next..."happy hour with floating bar". Our tour guide threw the "floating bar" in the water and sat in it with a crate of Dalat red wine. It was quite a funny site.
We met an extremely nice couple from Idaho, Ed and Elaine, who were traveling for 4 months as well. They were full of great stories from their travels, very neat people to talk with. We now have a place to stay in Sun Valley!:) We also met some girls from Sweden and Canada that gave us some info about the north.
