Leaving....We moved boxes into friend's houses when we ran out of room in our storage unit and had a maid clean the house, and we still thought this move would never end. By late afternoon, we still had a garage full of stuff to fit in the 4-Runner. There's no way it was all going to fit....we made several trips to the dumpster, a few more trips to the storage unit, packed and stuffed the 4-Runner and ran out of room. It was the worst move ever...never ending it seemed. Try packing your 2-story home in a 8x15 storage unit and Toyota 4-Runner! Lessons learned...never skimp on a storage unit, when hiring movers have them pack your furniture along with all of your boxes, and start packing up each room at a time.
We planned on leaving Austin around lunch time and didn't leave until 9:30pm Friday evening. We told the Larders we'd be on the road by 6 or 6:30pm! We were miserable!
And now starts our Gringo Withdrawal!

6 Weeks in
It has been six weeks since the move, are you having fun yet. The flight back for Jerry Jeff in December should be fun. Darren, please bring me back a tape worm from SE Asia...those are my favorite :) Hope you two are having fun. Stay safe

Well, Michigan is starting to feel like Antarctica now so have fun in Vietnam. Never thought I would say that in my lifetime! Safe travel and love your pictures! Can't wait to hear all about it.
