Summary:
Peddled: 4789.3 Kilometers. (2974.7 Miles)
Maximum loaded speed: 79 km/h (49 mph)
Average speed: I'll bet someone has walked it faster.
Loaded weight (day one, bike and all:) 47.7 kilos (105 lbs)
Eaten: One million tacos. At least.
Would I do it again? Mexico yes, Mexico on a bike, no.
Was I ever in danger? Once or twice, but mostly, Mexicans are twice as friendly and smiley as those of us from the USA.
Most accepted (by Mexicans) reason for doing it on a bike: More space for tacos!
Least accepted reason: Its fun.
Favorite place: San Francisco de San Javier, pop. 200, friendly people: 200
Least favorite place: San Felipe, Villa hermosa, Veracruz
Sad Fact: Every year this trip will get more impossible as gringos(Americans) buy up(and thereafter build fences with Keep out signs!) the whole beachline of Baja.
