After hiking our second day at the Canyon we packed up the sweet Dodge Magnum we had rented and headed back south to Sedona. After passing through Flagstaff on interstate 17 you will see the sign for Sedona. This is highway 89-A (if I am not mistaken) and takes you through some great scenery. It is a great drive to take slow and enjoy.
The following day my brother and I rented mountain bikes from a place called Absolute Bikes. The shop provided detailed maps of the local trails and suggestions on what would best fit our skill level. We rode the trails around Cathedral Rock and had good views of the red rocks.
