Saturday evening turned out pretty busy. We were wondering where all the people came from then found out that there was a popular Thai band playing here at our resort. People came for the day and some probably for the weekend too. We had a table reserved for buffet dinner at the concert and had a really fun time. Boy these people enjoy their SPICY food…!! Both of us enjoy spicy food, especially Richard but wow, this is pretty extreme. So good though! The band was fun and so popular among the locals. Nice to experience some local entertainment. Also caught glimpses of the F.A. Cup final which was good for Richard.

On Sunday while checking out the beach we found out that one of Thailand's princesses is staying here. Must be a pretty good place we ended up at. We are sure we saw her earlier today but we don’t really know what she looks like. We hope it’s a good sign that she’s here.

Interesting that the last two mornings we woke up with thunder banging in the sky. It goes on for a while then just stops. Seems like there was a bit of rain during the night but by the time we go for breakfast, the sun breaks through and the temperature shoots back up to the 30’s. Then we get back to our beach, books & swimming pools.

Sounds that you have a good time in paradise. Strange that there is such a different and troublesome situation in Bangkok! Today no reports in Swedish media from Bangkok - a good sign? Hopes for negotiations?
Beware of the sun! Stay in the shade.
FA-cup? Whats that compared to ÖSK, winning again and is in third place now that Allsvenskan take a break for World Cup.
