Where I stayed
An early departure, and a bit of a wrong turn down one freeway. Had morning tea at an outlet centre in Barstow, then went to Lake Mead and on to Hoover Dam where we looked at the wall and the exhibits. Finally arrived at Las Vegas. We stayed in the pyramid on the 16th floor of the Luxor Hotel. Access to the room was via an inclinator. Had tea at ESPN Zone, and visited an internet cafe to download some photos. Saw the Bellagio Fountains, the Treasure Island show, and lots of other casinos. Wandered up and down the strip, and went into every major casino for a look. Noticed that casinos don't have any signs pointing to exits in order to keep you inside and wandering around.
