Greg's Version
This was a simple drive all-day day. The only thing we did was stop for a short time at the Cherokee Tourist Center (trap). Mary bought a book. I wish I had a place for Native American art there was so much I wanted but I didn't buy anything.
There are so many tourist traps out here on I-40 that we talked about a road trip to visit all the I-40 and US-66 tourist traps. We figured that we could only cover about 200 miles a day with all the stops.
It only took us 10 hours to get to our hotel. Good night!

Phew, yes, it was a long day, compared to others. Again, I had to get a book on the history of the Indians that lived in that area. What can I say?
