Today we drove from Nashville to Memphis. We are staying in an RV park that is directly across the street from Elvis Presley's Graceland.

This afternoon we toured Elvis’ home and planes, and saw some of his cars. The attraction is well set up with shuttles taking everyone to Elvis' home. There are no touristy type shops on the property so it is very homey and there is not the opulence I was expecting. However, on the other side of the road is another story. There are shops upon shops of Elvis souvenirs, everything you could possibly think of to put 'Elvis Presley’ on is here to buy from bobble heads to replicas of his costumes (about $2500.) and everything in between. TVs and speakers are everywhere playing Elvis movies, documentaries, songs, and interviews. It’s mind boggling how much money probably goes through here every day.
