Midday temperature: 27C

We are in San Antonio for the next week. Our campground is okay, nothing spectacular. It has a 5 acre man made lake that is stocked with a few kinds of fish and a swimming pool. But what is amazing are the horseshoe pits; there must be a couple dozen of them all bordered with concrete. It looks like some serious horseshoe tournaments happen here though there aren't any scheduled that we can see.

We are minding the humidity here. After a couple months of 20% humidity levels in the desert, now we are experiencing 90% humidity. We can feel it dragging us down. Also, there are clouds in the sky and all morning fog! Too much like the Atlantic coast!

For supper tonight we decided to go to the campground dining room. For $7 we had a Texan sized helping of salad, meatloaf, mashed potatoes, green beans, biscuit, apple pie and beverage. Too much for one person, Greg and I could have shared one serving.
