Midday temp: 61F

We drove into some rain this morning. Rain has such a negative affect on our moods. So we put on some CDs and sang through the rain. Thankfully we brought all our CDs with us so we have quite a few to choose from. (Note from Greg: These are the same CDs that Karen asked me when I was putting them in Star "why are we bringing all these CDs with us?") Our drive today took us along miles and miles of corn fields. So now I know that Minnesota is part of the cornbelt, something I probably learned in junior high geography class. We arrived in Minneapolis-St. Paul via tunnel (ugh) and we were able to see old parts and new parts of the city. The city has only 500,000 inhabitants but it certainly seems much larger than that; many, many tall buildings and extensive road infrastructure within the city. Our Duke St. interchange is inconsequential in comparison.

We shopped at another Camping World today. We just couldn't pass it by.

For our stop tonight we are still in Minnesota. It’s another beautiful spot, overlooking a lake, albeit on the other side of a corn field, of course. There are only three other RVers here tonight so we pretty much had our choice of a campsite. Although the sun is shining now, the temperature is hovering around 50F, thirty degrees lower than what we had yesterday!
