After several late nights and with bugs floating about, Michael has come down with a cough and high temperature so leaving him in the cool to finish off the book he is ensconced in at the moment, Richard and I decided to go back to Universal Studios and have another go on the best rides. We had a great time, racing around like 2 big kids! Our favourite ride was probably 'The Revenge of the Mummy' which we did 3 times! On one of the times I rescued a young girl who was up at the starting point and sobbing because she didn't want to do the ride but her parents had gone ahead. Poor kid - I walked her out, reassuring her that she had years of being able to come back and do the ride when she was older.
Michael was pretty poorly later that afternoon/evening so while I stayed at home with him, Richard went out to a nearby bar to watch the BlackCaps play the West Indies. Hard to believe it came down to another super over AGAIN and as much as I love Chris Gayle, it was gutting to come so close.
On Tuesday I met up with Rebecca, Mum and Meg for a coffee at Tanglin Mall and then picked up a few last minute things from Little India. The decorations are just going up for Depavali and the flowers they have adorning the shops are gorgeous.
After a quiet afternoon, Rebecca and I met Mum and Meg at a lovely local vegetarian restaurant called Original Sin which has a fantastic menu and delicious food.
It is hard to believe tonight is our last night. The 3 months we have been away seems both to have flown and to have been an age. We are all looking forward to coming home but also a little sad that our great adventure is coming to an end. We have been looking back and reminiscing about the adventures we have had over these past 3 months so will post some of those in our final blog.
