We are heading towards Yolou, to the Cultural and Folkloric Multi-Centre.
It is about an old watermill that my cousins want to show me. The sun is shinning brightly in the sky and the moment we step off the car we can hear the singing of birds. What a beautiful day this is!
We leave the coffee shop and we descent some stairs to get to the watermill. It is a horizontal wheel type of watermill that stands here for 200 years, fully functional and wonderfully restored. I have never seen a horizontal watermill before, and I have the chance to take a small video.
The museum of the mill is quite interesting with a collection of different traditional tools relating to the different stages of bread-making, wine and olive oil production. The person working inside is busy making flour and we notice that he is a foreigner. We return to the coffee shop for coffee. It is a cosy little café selling a variety of Cypriot products.
After this place here we are returning straight back home because Angelo has to drive all the way back to Larnaka later this afternoon. So, we come home for lunch, rest for a little and then she leaves for Larnaca.
