Our day trip to Prokopi and Limni
We have elections in Greece this morning and there is heavy traffic on the Highways. On Monday most businesses are off work because it is a holiday here, and as it is a beautiful summer day most people are out with their families and friends trying to get advantage of this long weekend.
My son and his fiancé are coming to meet us in Chalkida.....and their coach arrives with a 45 minute delay. Our programme was to go to North Evia, take pictures and have lunch at a nice restaurant.
Our plans changed on the way however, because of this heavy traffic and also because it was already quite late when we set out.
Limni is about 70 kms from Chalkida and it is a stunning coastal resort.
Here the green with the luscious mountains blend perfectly with the crystal waters of the Aegean.
In all we had fun, and took many photos on the way and while coming back. It was a nice day short trip we had.
