How amazing it is to wake up and feel at home!

Yes we are here with our children enjoying breakfast and later on our lunch.

What a treat to have an amazing swimming pool out in the garden and how can I miss this great opportunity! You will see me daily out here swimming and working out for at least two hours.

Today it is a cooler day than yesterday and I enjoy the refreshing water of the pool on my body. I am a person who never swims in swimming pools but believe it or not this one is not similar to what I have come across up to now –not even in the luxury hotels that I visit. The water is so fresh and clear with no smell of chlorine. Our children consider it the highlight of the compound.

Late afternoon we drive to the Greek Embassy to photocopy our passports as we don't want to carry them along even though I know that Qatar is the safest country of all and even if you let something out in the street, in an office or a hotel or anywhere nobody will touch it. You will surely find it at a police station as no one touches anything that it does not belong to him. The law is strict and fingers are cut off!!

Looks like you are having a great time with your family. I bet there are not too many travel blogs on visits to Qatar!

Probably there aren't and this is the nicest for me. I will try to describe everything as I see it. It is true I want to be back again before my son and his wife leave the country....but it should be the beginning of November which is the best. I cannot stand the heat of the Arab countries otherwise even if I have a free ticket.
