I am up early to capture the stunning view of sunrise but I turn in soon after since it is still too early. It is 8.30 a.m and I am still in bed. The doors of the suite remained wide open throughout the night as always and the splashing of the waves down the beach could be heard up in the room. What a fantastic way to turn in!!
With my first cup of coffee on the terrace I enjoy this natural harmony of matching colors, the flower scent and the smell of seaweed in the morning sea breeze. Breakfast finishes at 10.30 at the restaurant so there is no need for me to rush. The sun is way up in the sky by now and I notice that the highlight of my suite is its amazing view that shimmers through the huge windows adding splashes of green and blue to the natural hues of the room. I believe I could have stayed for days out here without bothering to go out at all if I had the chance. Today's plan is to get to the Tombs of the Kings which are close by. With this in mind, I lock the door behind and go for breakfast.
Seeing Rosemary at the buffet I say good morning and she turns, looks at me and smiling she tells me that she did not recognize me at first because the previous day at the sauna I looked very different. She goes on telling me that they have decided to extend their stay and they are spending one more night here since they find the hotel beautiful. I am happy for them and tell her that there is so much to see and do out here that they would certainly need to return.
I greet Urs good morning, and they tell me that they are planning to do some sight-seeing and if I want they could take me along. I am so pleased with the idea that I am going to have somebody around for company this morning. Urs is a Professional Dr. Laboratory Head, working for the Laboratory of Atmospheric Chemistry in Switzerland. With the map laid on the table Urs checks the places we are going to visit this morning and we arrange to meet again at the reception half an hour later.
I am up brushing teeth, taking my bag, camera and some water, arrange my appointment at the Spa and I get to the reception. The treatment is set for tomorrow afternoon.
