Pergola Grill and Bar Restaurant

The very first night at the Hilton I decide to dine at the Pergola Grill and Bar Restaurant which is opposite the swimming pool. It is a beautiful warm evening, and I feel that this place is just ideal for my dinner outing tonight.



To be honest I am not very fond of buffet (lunch or dinners) although this is a challenge at the Hilton premises.



I order grilled salmon and veggies, and Andrea Yiallourides the person in charge of the supervision of Pergola assures me that what I am brought is of fine quality and excellent taste.  Andrea is a professional in his kind and I see how the younger people around him try to give their very best. They are alert the whole time and if you watch them it is as if they speak with their eyes between them. They move almost unnoticed around the tables and they are there the moment you truly need them.



I am informed by Andrea that because the Pergola restaurant is seasonal, tonight is the last night of operation until spring when it opens again. So, I consider myself lucky to be here this very last evening.



This stunning restaurant is the latest addition to the Hilton, and Adreas Georgiou the chef surely works miracles in the kitchen. I plan to ask permission on my coming trip to enter the kitchen and see him working.



Dishes are presented as if they are work of art.  The exceptional culinary standards, the taste and ambience set the scene for stylish dining accompanied by soft pleasing to the ears music.



What more can one need for an unforgettable dinner outing!!!
