There are several stunning beaches in Marmari. The closest to the port and on the right hand side facing the village of Styra is called Kavos. The one next to it is called Marmaraki, and the third which is my favorite is called the "Doctors' beach. It has this name because many doctors especially from Athens have their mansions in this beautiful area. Another name they have given for this beautiful coast is 'kokini’. The very last one is called Fygias.
Now, on the left side towards Karystos, the beach road takes you to Megali Ammos and this beach here is popular with surfers. In a short distance from this beach but on earth road it is the beach of Zastani which we missed. We decided not to go further since we had no intention of swimming.

The 'Doctors Beach' is surely interesting! I'm sure the property prices there must be surely expensive. The beach is lovely!
Doctors would surely choose the very best spot to build. ha ha!
