A DAY BEFORE EASTER.

A VISIT TO ALMIROPOTAMOS IN EVIA.

It is the 18th of April this morning, and the custom that I keep since young, is that today I have to go out in the fields and pick wild flowers as well as (fennel flowers) which I will put in (Magiritsa).

Magiritsa is the traditional soup we eat after we return from Church this evening.
(Holy Saturday).

This time we decided to have a short outing and visit ALMIROPOTAMOS.
It is a nice fishing village in Evia.
I am always carrying along my camera and have taken some nice photos. The day is lovely....sunny and really hot and we enjoy having a long walk by the sea. The small tavernas (restaurants) and coffee shops are almost full. One or two persons are even swimming, and children are enjoying their holidays.
