Upon arrival, we take the city-sightseeing tour to get to know the place, and we end up at the Roman Baths. There are crowds of people here, but very soon we are in the Roman Baths, taking photos like everyone else.

It was quite late in the afternoon when we finished our touring around, and decided to spend the night here ....if only we could find a hotel ! So we start searching for settlement, but it is not possible.
We thought that we should not have cancelled the one we had, as it is so nice here that we really want to stay.

Anyway, we are unlucky, but it's ok. !!!!
We have to accept the fact that we had rooms but given them away.

We leave Bath late in the afternoon and we come to a very picturesque little village. It is raining a bit, but it is this kind of weather that I was having in mind when deciding to visit Britain.

We decide to take photos and have a short walk around this beautiful small village in the suburbs of Bath. The rain makes everything so clean and shiny, and both the light from the lamp posts in the streets, and the lights coming from inside the buildings make the atmosphere magical.
We really don't want to leave. We wish we could have spent the night here !!! The buildings are made of stone, and the bridge in the village adds more beauty to the village itself. Everything here is just what I was dreaming of !!!
It is very late at night, almost 11pm when we reach the house.Resting today....no trip, but making plans for tomorrow's trip to the birthplace of William Shakespear.

We are enjoying our huge breakfast this morning making plans for today's trip. However rain keeps flooding different cities in the northern side, and we are worried. In the meantime there is some bombing going on in the centre of London.
I feel that we are unlucky, - first the flood, and now a bomb in the centre of London..!! Woh! What's next!

DINING OUT WITH A GOOD CLASSMATE OF MINE.

We decide to get some rest today, and we spend the day indoors.

In the evening I have arranged to be met by a friend of mine for dinner out in a Chinese Restaurant. I love exotic kitchen, and he comes with his wife, to pick us up and drive us to the restaurant.

We get in the car, and we are driving towards the restaurant that he made reservations. We are driving and driving and there is no way out. Huge traffic lines of cars. There is such a terrible traffic congestion that we feel like being trapped in it. There is no way to be out, so Thaso calls the restaurant and arranges to have dinner at another nearby restaurant of the same chain.
It is terrible. A nightmare indeed! What else am I going to expect! We managed to get free after 1.30 hours having Thaso driving and us sitting in the car in the busy roads of London losing precious time.

Dinner was exceptionally good, and the waiters very helpful.....standing a few steps from us, waiting to offer their best possible service.

We enjoyed our dinner with much chatting mostly about our trips to different destinations, our lives, families, and we remembered good and bad moments of the past when we were students at the Academy. Remembered funny moments of our classmates, and our professors too.

It was late almost midnight when we left the restaurant.
