We have a visit to the Archeological Museum in Delphi one of the ancient relics of Greece.

It is a Museum that houses the ancient artifacts that were found here. It's centerpiece are the antiquities found in the complex of the ancient Oracle from the 18th century BC when the oracle was founded to its deadline in Late Antiquity. The exhibits here are mainly offerings to the oracle.

Many political decisions were taken after consultation of the Oracle, and no colony was founded around the Mediterranean without the consent of the sanctuary at Delphi.
In proportion with its immense influence, the settlement at Delphi grew from a small village to an imposing depository of fine Architecture and Art.

At Delphi sanctuary, excavations have unearthed settlements that date as far back as the Neolithic era.

We spent about 3 hours there, and after visiting the Museum, we headed up towards the hill to see the Stadium and the Ancient Theatres.
The Sanctuary of Apollo offers the most amazing views of the olive groves of AMFISSA, the CORINTHEAN GULF, and the PELOPONESE Mountains.
