Holidays in Cyprus !!!

I have booked part of our holidays this summer at CAPO BAY HOTEL.
We have been to Protaras several times, and we love it here.
We have also stayed at AYIA NAPA a couple of times - a near by
touristic village, but I am very fond of this beach here.
Most of the times when down in Cyprus, I book here for a week.

We are here on a Half Board basis, and it is quite expensive.
The hotel is ok, but I was disappointed with the rooms which seemed
to me quite small. Of course there is a nice view but still I wanted
it to be a bit more spacious. Besides, we shall be living here for
7 nights !!!

The days spent here are relaxing, and most of the time we are
down the beach. The funny thing is that although I love this bay
here, yet I find that there is not a place for walking and jogging,
a thing that I love doing early every morning when I go out and walk
for 8 kms.

All these days here are spent idling around and either swimming or
sunbathing, but I am a bit disappointed because I am with the impression
up to now that the Fig Tree Bay, is what I see infront of me from
the Hotel's room.

A BIG MISTAKE!!!

I discovered in the following trip I had here, that the beach is extended
on the other side of the fig tree. Following the small narrow road that
leads to other hotels, you come to a long beach with the same colours and
quality. It is open sea, calm crystal waters, for every taste.

So, the day that I found out about this, I was so happy that I spent 3 hours
walking to every hotel or hotel appartment in the area getting information
and leaflets. There are other hotels even better than the CAPO BAY HOTEL,as
well as a number of great Hotel Apparments in the same area which are much
cheaper, and much recent built.
So, on my next trip to Cyrus I am surely going to spend a week here next to
the FIG TREE BAY, which is the best area in PROTARAS.
