29th
The plane landed early in the afternoon, and the trip was long and quite tiring. I could not get a moment's sleep, but it is ok. I am getting used to it, especially if I am going to have another 10 days in Cyprus. Luckily I have no summer lessons this year.

31st August, flying to Cyprus.

September is considered to be the BEST summer month for Cyprus.
Not much heat and humidity, and coolness in the evening. Just what I need. I am traveling alone, and I am going to spend some days at mom's house but most of the time I am staying at my sister's apartment right next to the beach.

I don't have anything special to write, except that the days are nice and relaxing. I've got my friends and classmates in Larnaca, so we meet and have fun mostly in the evenings.
Most of the time I am out on the beach, which is extended to about 8 kms. The waters are nice and warm, and I get up very early in the morning to see the morning sunrise, and after a good breakfast I get to the beach. I don't have to walk at all to get there, because the beach is just in front of the apartment.

I am swimming for about 15 minutes, and then have a long walk to the very last hotel which is about 4 km from our house, where I enjoy an hour in the jaccuzzi of the hotel, and then walk all the way back to the house. Every now and then I get in the sea because it is hot to cool up, swim for some minutes, and walk again. I leave at 8am, and get back home at about 1.30pm.

This I do daily, and it does not only relaxes me but keeps me fit. In the afternoon I just go down and swim and sunbathe for a couple of hours, and in the evening I usually see relatives and friends.

Daily the beach is swarming by bathers who come with their families and want to enjoy dinner on the shore. They light fires and have meat on the spit. Mothers try to feed the children who are playing and making sand castles, and you can hear loud voices and music everywhere. They only leave for their homes quite late - some after midnight.

I don't find this idea clever at all, and I believe that in the next couple of years this generation of kids will be overweight, and sick. I don't like the idea of mothers being so pressing on food especially so late at night. I pity those little ones, but the parents who have no idea what they are doing as well!!!

The days go by and I enjoy every minute of my stay in Larnaca. I walk and exercise a lot.
What else would somebody wish on a vacation?
A peace of mind, and relaxation - this is what I have got here in Cyprus.

I love taking photos, and especially during winter time, as I always sit on my pc and see my holiday photos mostly when I feel down, or tired and need some peace of mind. I remember the good times I have on every single vacation.
Most of these photos are taken while walking each morning.

Today is the very last day, and I have already packed everything and I am ready to return to Athens. I have missed my home after all these days being away. We have lunch with my sister and mum, and driven to the airport.
Another vacation has come to an end!!!!
