Hope you enjoyed the travel Logues etc. The long flight from Auckland to L.A. wasn't too bad, it was the small connecting ones that knocked us around and after we landed in Greenville, SC at 12.30ish am. We didn't get in to bed till 3am. A long day of travelling, next time we won't split hairs about saving cash and maybe leave via Charlotte etc. Kinda bites being back here after 2 odd weeks home in Kiwi land but what can you do eh?
So, its back to reality now in Waynesville, NC. No more 10 o'clock breakfast at cafes, no more 3 hrs long lunches at local wineries, no more flat whites(coffee) & sausages rolls and doughnuts for morning tea, no more roast lambs for dinner and definitely no more trips to dairy's(convenience stores) for everything under the sun that i couldn't get states side!haha
But, reality aside, it as great to see friends and family and those things that were & still are very familiar to me. Jenn managed to get a deeper look into the kiwi psyche and a taste for sausage rolls and meat pies(hee hee). Also greta to see some live rugby on the box(tv), especially since it was the British & Irish Lions vs the mighty All Blacks(NZ National team)!
Hope you enjoyed the website, i think its great! Sorry i slackened off in the last few days but you know, got busy etc.
