East Africa. A land of delicious bananas, mangoes, and parasites that hide in your liver and then disperse into your bloodstream.
Don't ever get Malaria, it's terrible. Especially when you have a test. Don't ever get malaria and take a test. I'm not even sure what I wrote down. I just remember...well actually, I don't remember, I just know I don't want to see that grade.
So simply put I've been out of commission for the last four days. Luckily today I felt like a lot better, and that's good because It's a big week. Spring break starts on Friday, and I'm going up to Kenya with everybody, then over to Kampala, Uganda. Me and Elliot are gonna take the ferry over Lake Victoria and and the train back to Dar es Salaam. It's gonna be an adventure. I can't wait to get outside Dar and start to do some traveling, at the same time though it's pretty intimidating.
Time has been going by too quickly. Two months have gone by faster than I anticipated. I'm hoping that the next two will slow down a little bit. I still have a lot that I want to do before I leave. So here's to staying busy while I can. I've been thinking about food back home a lot, if anyone can find some way to send me a ham omelette, or anything from denny's...
