Hannah loves the Metro and is becoming quite competent at navigating all the various trains needed to get from point A to point B on our schedule. We went back to the Monasterika area yesterday noted in part for it's flea market.

Mark had let us know he expected to in Athens by 12:30 so we were careful to be back at the apartment to greet him. He reported a good experience tooling around Aegina Island. We walked with him to his hotel which is just a couple of blocks from us where he met up with his group.

Hannah and I then went to the Acropolis Museum which houses artifacts from the Acropolis. It is a beautiful new building and a video showing how the Parthenon would have looked when it was provided first in Greek then in English. Picture taking was not allowed inside, but I did get a picture of Hannah looking down through a type of plexiglass flooring outside that reveals uncovered remains of early Athens structures.

Going to the Benaki Museum and War Museum today. Laters, Linda
