We finally made it to Austin.  We won the early bird tickets to this music fest months before we put our house on the market and decided to do this trip.  130 bands, 8 stages, 3 days!  As most of you know, we love to see live music so this was a music lovers paradise.  It's impossible to see all the bands as 4 stages are typically going at once but we made every effort.  We mixed seeing bands we knew and bands we've never heard of.  The weather was HOT and you walked around dripping wet from the heat.  I highly recommend getting yourself to this fest - it is a well run event and bring a hat.  Some of the many bands we saw:

Geryhounds
Joseph Arthur
Bela Fleck
Reverend Horton Heat
Gotan Project
Raul Malo
Paolo Nutini
Railroad Earth (Best shake your butt band)
Damien Rice (Beautiful music)
Arcade Fire (Rockin' live performance)
Amos Lee
Bob Dylan
The Decemberist
DeVotchka
Ghostland Observatory

P.S. Jeremy thinks it is quite funny that I got my mouth stuck on a popsicle after the show.  I felt like the kid in a Christmas Story who got his lips stuck on the flag pole.  Skin actually tore off my mouth.
