I saw a woman walking along the shore being followed by a few dogs. As she approached, the sun blinded me to her features and i didn't get a complete understanding of what was happening until she sat down next to me.
She was obviously an ex-bar girl to whom the years hadn't been kind. Frumpy and wearing too much makeup, she was one of the most tragic figures I have ever encountered. Poverty was her current lot and at this point she couldn't really afford to feed her dogs meat. Rather than begging, she offered to fellate me for 40 Baht (US $1). Playing the guilt card, she asked how much my cigar cost.
I was dying inside.
I am sooooo poor
I wanted my solitude back.
I cannot give my dog meat today...i have no money
I wasn't looking for any further evidence of how good i got it.....really.
You give me 40 Baht and i go with you...ok?
I just wanted her to go away.
40 Baht. I go with you...ok? I need to feed my dog....
I had some spare change in my pocket. About 15 baht. I gave it to her, thanking her for the offer and asked her to please leave me in peace.
She threw the money into the sand and stormed off offended.....
another day in paradise?
