(C) THOUGHT OF THE DAY - No wonder everyone likes to come to the south of France.

(S) Well, it would appear our two months of freeloading might have finally come to an end. It is time to leave our oceanside AND oceanview apartment in the south of France and hit the road again. We have been completely spoiled on this trip - two great houses to base our travels from in two great locations. But, one (or two) can only mooch off family for so long...
We tried to make the most of our last two days in Cap d'Ail - swimming at the beach, Plage Mala, right below our apartment twice and me begging Chad to make his famous (ok, only famous to me and my 5 new chins) asparagus risotto one last time. Surprisingly, the ladies at the bread shop did NOT miss us, did not acknowledge recognition of us, and pretty much acted like we were somewhere in a class just above spiders. Man, I love the French.

Note to our wonderful hosts Donald and Dilla: Thanks so much for the amazing place to stay and inviting us over for drinks one last time. We bid you farewell, thanks, and see you soon!
