(S) When he says civilization, he means it. Chania (Hania) is a Venetian city and beautiful. Our campground is fine (definitely not camping No Problem, but there seem to be less German/American vs. English fist fights in the middle of the night AND I found a baby kitty in a tree, which I of course had to put back along with the stray black puppy I found in the grocery store parking lot - sigh) and Chania has cheap internet cafes and decent food (but is it really bad anywhere in Greece????) To top it off, it's a great base for the BEST beach ever. Oh, and we fly out of here to meet Karl in Germany.
