Well we have successfully completed the first leg of our journey! We left Edmonton about 3 hours later than expected but arrived nonetheless. No it wasn't due to an all night bender of partying after my last final ... ever, more of a last minute freak out of what we'll be needing and not needing over the next four months. We've had to repack our bags already and each shed a few kg's, but they are still a little on the heavy side. We're down to what we think are "essential" items, we'll see how that works out over the next few weeks. Pretty boring entry... well aware, more of a test than anything. This time tomorrow we'll be arriving in Manchester, exciting!! Goodbye Canada, -40 deep freezes, we'll really miss it. Hello rain!

Today is the 19th (manchester time). How long are you going to be in Manchester for? I probably won't get to see you guys for a while as I am at the snooker club tonight, then down to cornwall for christmas vacation and new years. Won't be back till the third...
