Lets face it, inconvenient as it may be, taking a day off in bed with a cold is not the end of the world when you are in a nice comfortable bed, in a nice warm room, with things like computer/TV etc to amuse you. Sometimes its even quite nice. Being sick in the MKSH was a different story.

It is now getting quite cold at night and the MKSH is not equipped for cold weather.
I spent tuesday and Wednesday lying in bed staring at the dirty white walls of lit up by the flourescent white light, trying to stay warm by using a blow heater by my bed. Everytime I left my bedroom there was a massive temperature drop (reminded me of Japan where believe it or not they dont generally have central heating), and the stone floor was freezing.

The MKSH was starting to remind me of mental institute; people aimlessly wandering around with a slightly gourmless look. Although its meant as a transitionary place, there are people that seemed to have somehow got stuck there for months, or even years. One of those people is B. I had spoken to him a couple of times but he would generally ignore me in passing, so it did not suprise me the other night to find out that he was English. I had mentioned that a group of us were going to Eilat this weekend and he asked to come. I said sure. After all, I figured -what harm could he do.
