On Monday there was little to do in the office. I twas becoming clear that the internship was not really benefiting me or my employer and in the end I left early to work out my next step. When I got to Ra'anana I went to look at the 'Great Shape' gym on Ahuza and stopped to get my hair cut on my way back. I should have realised as I walked in to the stench of cigarrette smoke and and unswept hair on the floor that the place might be dodgy, but at 50 NIS for a wash and cut I figured I'd go ahead.  The haidresser seemed a bit pissed off about something and was going on about Michael Jacson but I couldnt understand what he was saying. I didnt much like the cut (see PS) but he kept asking 'You like it?' so in the end I told hime straight that I'd had better and had worse ..perhaps Israeli bluntness rubbing off on me.

I got back to the MKSH to realise I didnt have my key so I had to get one from the office and go (just near the hairdresser) to get one cut. I got back to the MKSH to find that it the new key didnt work so had to go back, get my money back, and go to a different place.

That evening I had a trial at the gym - quite a nice place with mainly teenagers and young adults but also some annoying English speaking rich jewish housewife types - probably married to guys working in the booming hitech industry in Ra'anana.

When I got back I realised I was coming down with a cold.

PS, everyone else likes the haircut
