Jared: We finally experienced some of the irish rain..   To bad we had to cross a rope bridge over a deep chasm while we did..  The view from the hostel was awesome and the hostel itself was very nice.  We meet up with a guy from the previous day who biked the route we drove.  Took him most of the day but we both got to the same spot.  Nice guy.. from Spain.. Told him to come visit us and bike across Canada .. he looked up at the map on the wall and decided against that after seeing how big it was compared to Ireland.  Went for dinner at the local pub..  because the OTHER local pub doesnt serve food this week.  haha.. Steak and Guinness Pie..  yummy.   After that another restful night sleep.

James:  So basically, what Jared said, it rained.  But even then it wasn't all that horrible, I think it looked worse that it actually was.  It sorta looked like it was raining horizontally with the winds coming off of the coast.  7 days in the UK without rain?1  Someone was looking down upon us favourably! :)

Susan: Carrick-a-rede (from scottish gaelic) means the rock in the road. The road is the sea route for Atlantic Salmon on their westward journey past Carrick Island. For 350 years fishermen have strung a rope bridge 30 metres above the sea to allow them to access the best places to catch the migrating salmon. (someone actually reads the facts so as to impart a little history to all) Oh, and it rained for the first time. Walked the rope bridge in gale force winds, or at least it felt that way, in the rain. O course the boys behind me were only more than happy to jump up and down and make the bridge bounce. Beautiful scenery, more cliffs and sheep. One kilometre walk just to swing over the sea on rope and some wet boards. Heck it was even a whole kilometre back. Holy hiking, batman.
