Over the weekend the locals and the tourist come out to "Recoleta" one of Burenos Aires prime attractions for a fair. On the surrounding paths your will find handmade crafts to purchase at a very good price, along with lively street performers (see picture). Great little cafes and bars are all around. We found a large shopping mall with a 10 screen movie theater that had reserved setting all for $4 (we saw The Departed).
