We drove up to Beauty Point to stay at the Tamar Cove Motel & Restaurant, which was the best meal we have eaten in all of Tasmania!  We met owners Donna and Stefan who told us what they saw in 1999 for this neglected motel and have transformed this business to become one of the best value motels and restaurants in the Tamar Valley.  We agree with them 100%.

More recently, the town has also become the home of Seahorse World, a working seahorse farm and educational center that is open to the public which we stopped and had a visit.  Check out the video of the seahorse being feed and the hermit crab, Also pictures of different kinds of seahorses being farmed for sale around the world.
