We made our way for the 1-1/2 drive to Udaipur, also known as the City of Lakes (founded in 1559). Once you see the city you know how it got its name, we found a great hotel on one of the highest points of the city for a New Year's Eve check-in. Had a great dinner at the roof top restaurant and watched the many fireworks all over the city below. It looked great. As you can see from the pictures we had a great location!
