Mount Abu is about 1220 meters above sea level (3/4 of a mile up). It is referred to as 'an oasis in the desert', as its heights are home to rivers, lakes, waterfalls and evergreen forests. It has been a popular retreat from the heat of Rajasthan (states it is in) and neighboring state of Gujarat for centuries. At the time of the year we went is was nice during the day but cold at night. Only a few pictures to post of our 2 night visit.
