Where I stayed
Before we hit the dock from the island, we worked out a deal with 6 other people to hire a van to take all of us to our next location "San Juan Del Sur", about an 1-1/2 drive.
Set on a horseshoe-shaped bay framed by picturesque cliffs (see pictures below), the town has become a hot-spot for locals and travelers. What once was a small fishing village has moved into a surf haven. The town has started to become somewhat “gringofied” but still a fun stop for a few days. I enjoyed the multicolored houses and the local flavor, for some interesting photograph during our stay.
