Our next stop up the coast was Jeffrey's Bay, which in the late 1960s and early 1970s was known as a hippie hangout. We stayed there for 2 days and 1 night as we visited the close by Monkeyland and Birds of Eden Parks.
Monkeyland is the world's first multi-species free-roaming primate sanctuary, renowned though-out the world for its rehabilitation work. We were able to walk freely though the forested and watch the monkey live in a "free environment".
Birds of Eden was our next stop which has one of the largest free-flight aviary and incorporates an indigenous forest with waterfalls and elevated walkways.
Both were very interesting.
