So driving on the autobahn was fun, fast, a little freaky, and much more orderly than on U.S. highways. So, almost right when we got into Germany there was a big billboard that read "Nicht fährt so schnell!" My German is definitely a little rusty and I thought that schnell meant slow, meaning: "Don't drive so slow!" I thought that was the raddest thing ever. I thereby proceeded to drive effing fast. Not really though, we got up to about 110 at one point but the roads were pretty traffic-y through to Nurnberg. Why isn't trafficky a word. Schnell just sounds slow though, right? Like a german saying snail. However, after about 2 hours I remembered that it meant fast, so I was a little disappointed in Germany's lack of crazy bad-assness. Great words today. Good drive. Pretty scenery.

Nurnberg was great though. We first need to thank Scott and Christine Minert for letting us stay in their amazing home in Stein for the night and feeding us a really great meal. So yeah, thanks. Your family was wonderful.

Also a huge thank you to Veselina. For those that don't know, she is my good friend from Bulgaria. She is seriously the best. Last time I came to Germany she was able to set us up in a great little hotel in the center of the old town because she is friends with everybody, it seemed like at least. This time she brought her roommates and they showed us around the town for the night. It was the most fun I have had yet on the trip, by far. We walked through the old town, ate my favorite ice cream (I have only found it in Nurnberg- it's called Engelblau and it is blue and ridiculous), then went to a cafe- much like I would have done EXACTLY 10 years ago in Dobrich with Veselina and our other Dobrich friends. I miss all you guys.

So for having only one night in Germany, we were still able to cram a bunch in and hang out with great people. Thanks again Scott, Christine, and Vesalina (roommates included). It sucks to leave so quickly, но ще се видим пак. Наистина беше страхотно. Благодаря Вес.

С обич,
