I think they like their fish and chips here even more than us english, and the fish is good.
This is a really nice town, and the place we are staying has another great view, but then i guess in this part of canada it is all great views.
Just sitting here typing this and 2 huge cruise ships have just passed through the passage between us and the next island over, they created some big waves onto the shore here.
we went onto the pier this afternoon and watched some lads catching salmon with light rods and just a lure on the end. They were catching "Pinks" , about 6 lb to 8 lb , I recon they were good to eat MMMmmm! It seemed a very energetic type of fishing, as they saw the fish passing by ( really fast tidal flow) , they would all run from one end of the pier to the other trying to get their lure in front of the fish, and with about 12 of them all trying to do the same thing it was quite comical. But we did have to duck out of their way a couple of times to avoid being caught by their hooks as they raced past us. The other good thing on the pier was ice cream, me and Milo decided we were going to have one , and we orderd a two scoop Chocolate for milo and vanilla for me. well the chocolate came first, I have never seen such a huge ice cream in my life, milo looked shocked and and said wow that's a big one, and the bloke beside us said "yea, like Awsome", as he stuck his face into his huge cone....Well the Vanilla one was just as big , but we managed to finish them off eventually.

Peter you would love this place it is really boaty, loads of nice harbours and miles of flat calm seas sheltered from the pacific waves...
