Claire, for the first time in her life was there early - thankfully as she nabbed us a prime location. From there in the guests continued to arrive throughout the evening.
The drinks were plentiful, food was great and the company even better!
It was just the right location, ambiance and amount of people so that we could get around everyone to say our fond farewells.
Thanks to everyone who could make it and for all the cards and presents which were much appreciated...and will definitely go to good use.
Luckily we had a week to recuperate, get organised and spend SOME quality time with the family (and the rest loading our i-pods!)
After a mad last minute rush (even after 12 months of planning!) it was on to the airport...and the rest of the big wide world.
