Where I stayed
A little french apartment
Paris is a city that is hard not to love. We ticked off all the major touristy things (along with the tourist hordes) and had a really nice time doing it. Our favourite time was spent meandering through the streets of Montmartre where we rented a little French apartment. The area was great, packed with patisseries, cheese shops and divine little bistros. The best meals we had were in the surrounding restaurants, where we got to taste some amazing duck and chocolate fondue. We also had a nice night in where we bought some cheese, bread, pâté, wine and dessert!
Being able to stay a week in Paris was perfect, we didn’t have to rush anything and were able to visit our favourite places more than once, see the top of the Mona Lisa at the Lourve and waste a few hours at the Orsay museum as well as day trip out to the Palace of Versailles.
Next stop Marid!
