Today we had a private guide who drove us through the battlefields and brought the war alive for 3 hours.........our heads were spinning by the time we got done....there are few .....if any besides us.....tourists.....so everywhere we go we are getting wonderful attention. The woman who operates the tourist information center almost jumped for joy to have someone to talk to.....We are presently in the process of trying to secure ticket to the Vince Gill concert at the Grand Ole Opry for Saturday night.....cross your fingers for us....Tomorrow off to Charlotsville, Va......Thanks to all of you that have signed the guestbook....it makes the aggrivation of working on this very slow computer each night....worth it. (and if you are wondering............ we are all still speaking).......Love the Ya Ya's

having fun
Glad to see that you are enjoying yourselves!! Gettysburg is truly an amazing place. Having a personal guide is a great way to go--I'm sure you can now imagine the soldiers marching to certain death up the hill in Pickett's charge.
I am enjoying your pictures and the interesting people you are meeting.

Hi
Love the pictures and the video. Love the pictures of all your new friends. Gettysburg sounds great, never been there, can't wait to hear about Nashville. Hope you get the tickets. Wine always helps with the brain overload. I see Debbi is the hostess with the mostest. Love those in room parties always the best fun.
Keep on truckin!!!!

Have fun in Virginia
I've really enjoyed watching and reading about your trip. What a great experience for the YaYa's. You'll love Charlottesville and Monticello - if you have a chance go see the University of Virginia - its awesome. I hope you are grooving to the Road Music and just absorbing this tremendous opportunity of visting the people and places of the United States. Remember the motto in Virginia - 'Virginia is for Lovers' - Behave yourselves now!!
Enjoy - I'm jealous - Mary Carrington
