Ever since I was doing some homework on the Windsors and read about the Prince of Wales (Edward VIII, King of the UK) meeting Wallis Simpson in the Coronado ballroom I wanted to actually see, with my own eyes, in what special surrounding, under what light did the next king see the divorcee so as to desperately fall in love and throw away the crown for her. Latter when it hit me that Thomas Alva Edison worked (rather slowly, because he loved the place and the comfort it extended) on the installation of electric network and lighting - I was positive that one day I will have to go there.
We approached Coronado over this absolutely breathtaking ride across the bridge over the bay.
