If one swallows Salamis as a city or a town one can perform in Cirque de Soleil. But then, such an performance needs to be awarded. And that is when I would accompany the winner to Venus Beach Resort and Hotel - despite it is in the middle of nowhere, which is Salamis, at least about half an hour from Magusa or Famagusta although to me it looked half a century.
But then, then: was it not worth it! Not every kilometer, every meter of the poor road was worth the trip.
Now, after all this, I have a feeling that their general manager, his name is Mr. Nihat Berkan threw spells (never heard of Muslims throwing spells, but these people are highly emancipated) and succeeded on July 20th to stage an Independence day reception as a general rehearsal for the big opening which he launched on 22nd July.
Wasn't that spectacular!
Now, just think: a hotel, actually a resort opened for public this July 22nd, where can you find something newer, fresher and more eager to succeed? On Copacabana beach or Cancun? You understand me well, I hope.
Now, I'll tell you the whole story, just in case.
