I hated the place the moment I set foot on its soil. Forget the official categorization (by the World Meteorological Organization) that this is the hottest large (something like 6,350,000 population now)
city on the planet. Heat is heat and the higher temperature strikes you worse no matter whether there are 600 or six million people around. This is humid too. You feel the steam enter your trousers from around your ankles and work its way up until you are all wet.
But I did buy some excitingly beautiful designs of natural silk out there for Marija.
