Where I stayed
Road Trip to Amsterdam
On another rainy day we left Bruges for our trip to Amsterdam via Veere. Our trip was about 1 hr 43 min....Bill was our pilot, and Glorian was the co-piloot...both did an admirable job!!! Veere was fun There was a fair that is held every Tuesday....everything from smoked garlic, candy, clothing., etc was sold...including many demonstrations. We ate at Sister Anna's...Bill and Glorian opted for pancakes with "stuff" on them...Neil was happy with a pizza, and I spaghetti bolognese!!!
Tonight we went to the bar for a dinner drink and never left.....3 cosmos and 2 beers later we had hamburgers and fries.....elixir from the gods!!! Our room is great and we go to bed looking forward to tomorrow.......our day will be very relaxing with an anticipated boat trip up and down the canals and a dinner before we retire for the cruise.

Comments
Thanks for the update. You all look great. Fries in Holland are the best, I feel so good when I get updates. I can not answer through IPod so I am posting comments. Did you get the prior one? Glorian cover your eyes when you visit the R/D -- remember? Ha! Ha! All is well here. My best to the four of you. Love, Mami PS: I am new to all this so in reality I don't know what I am doing.
I finally got the nack of this. The first blog just read one word: Bill. This one is a lot more informative. Pictures are great and the map is interesting as well. The floral graden in front of the ornate government bld.(Brussels) was very impressive. Don't know if you will receive this comment since I am not a TravelPod member. Thought for the day: a rainy day away is better than a rainy day at home, except for Jean who loves rainy days at home. Wishing you all wonderful memories on your Great Adventure.
Loved Veere, they have a great store with "Blonde Amsterdam" goodies, and a great kitchen shop (for Jean!)..by the way great job Jean!
You all look very happy ! Safe travels, Bonnie
Sounds like your having fun, finding good eats and drinks. Covering lots of territory, how are the tulips?
Wish I were with you eating and drinking enjoy.
