Today, January 15th, is Martin Luther King, Jr.'s birthday, and this entire weekend will be full of celebrations. We will be taking advantage of the long weekend to attend the Inauguration of Barack Obama, the 44th President of the United States, January 20th. Before then, however, we will be celebrating Anita's Birthday. She doesn't know it yet but there is a little surprise in store for her.
Yes, it was only one year ago when I surprised her with a cruise to Central America. My parents, brother David and his wife Arlette joined us. It was truly a wonderful experience. This year's celebration will have a little historic touch. After all, the day after her birthday, a new President will be sworn into office and we will be there to witness it. But first we will stop off and visit my sister Cynthia in Raleigh, North Carolina.
These birthday trips are great. We're challenged each time to top the last trip. This one is going to be tough to pull off, especially after the great time we had in Bermuda for my birthday. But we'll give it a shot.

Get ready, get ready because we are fired up and ready to go!
